We worked in collaboration with consultants and engineers to execute civil works, structural components, and finishing. Strict adherence to marine construction standards and safety protocols was maintained throughout the year-long project.

Creating a Concept & Design

Working with international consultants, Mengro prepared marine infrastructure designs, structural layouts, and passenger facility concepts. The designs incorporated international maritime safety standards and tourism-focused amenities.

Construction

The works involved marine piling, structural steel erection, reinforced concrete works, and internal finishing. Special emphasis was placed on safety, durability, and marine-grade materials. The project ran for one year, with close adherence to marine construction standards.

Project Handover

The terminal was successfully commissioned and handed over to the Kenya Ports Authority, positioning Mombasa as a premier cruise tourism destination in East Africa.
