As part of the large-scale Thwake Dam project, Mengro Products Limited undertook significant excavation works that form the foundation of this critical water supply and hydro-power infrastructure.

Creating a Concept & Design

The excavation design included cut-and-fill analysis, slope stabilization strategies, and sequencing of excavation activities. Designs were coordinated with the main contractor, China Gezhouba Group.

Construction

Heavy machinery was deployed for mass excavation, soil stabilization, and haulage. Safety and environmental management were key priorities throughout the two-year works.

Project Handover

Upon successful completion, the excavation section was handed over to the main contractor, enabling subsequent dam construction activities to progress smoothly.
